(or, What I've Gathered From What Has Been Said, And Must I Say, Holy Fuck)

The news about why °
jark was fired has been leaked, it would appear. Sadly, it was not from $
spyed. I'll be interested to hear what his response will be.
Anyway, here's my little summary of what I've gatehred as to why Jark was fired:
Over the past year or so, Jark had been having increasing amounts of problems with the dA "Board of Directors" (which consists of Spyed and $
mccann). He was being listed (and payed for) part-time hours for deviantART, but was workign for quite a while full-time hours. As well, he is one of dA's four tockholders, and thus was rather annoyed when he was not informed of McCann's sudden, voteless adding to the "Board."
As well, he was President of deviantART until around Sept. '04, and he was dropped from the position with barely a word--Spyed, the CEO for a while, had taken on the position of President as well.
Around mid-early July '05, after a long period if bad relatiosn with the staff/administration of dA, Jark set out an ultimatum: if in 10 days he was not put back in his place as President and payed the remainder of his pay for nearly a year of full-time work, among otehr things, he would take legal action (the full set of demands can be seen at either of the two first links in this post).
He didn't hear from anyone for eight days, and after sending out a "scathing" e-mail, he recieved a response from McCann. Responding back saying he was available for a phone conversation, McCann called him. The first words out of McCann's mouth was that the "Board" had decided that Jark was to be terminated from deviantART.
Holy god.
